After enabling the adminstrator account, I found that I can access the built-in administrator account with absolutely no password...What great security. I wonder what happen to setting up the administrator password on install ??

Warning! No Password set for built-in administrator account
Windows has been this way since Win 98. That's why the only normal way to get to this account is in Safe Mode. You may set a password if you like.

I have installed windows 2k and xp 100+ times ....and if I am not mistaken, Administrator password is set up during install process. And as a note you do not have to go into safe mode to access administrator account. Just ctrl+alt+del at the windows log-in screen type in administrator ....and you in.. And I also find interesting how it creates a user account by defualt and your able to change to administrator account with user account privaledges.

I want to say that you are correct about the setup of 2k and XP Pro. It does ask for a password when for the admin account when installing. Hopefully, Microsoft will see this as a possible problem, even with the admin account disabled by default.
